©Kinky Boots [Image description: Promotional poster for Kinky Boots the Musical with the letter K being made of a pair of long red high heeled sparkly boots.]I’ve recently booked to see Kinky Boots and was really impressed when I looked at the listings and saw that they actually have accessible shows, which is a very big deal for a National tour (even though it shouldn’t be.) So I thought I’d do a post to shout about it; in a good way. And share all the accessible/ assisted shows that are scheduled for the 2019 UK tour.
You can visit each venue’s webpage (onto their Kinky Boots page) by clicking on each theatre’s name on the listings below. Where possible I have looked for alternative ways to book, given most assisted shows are for those with a hearing impairment which can make booking tickets over the phone problematic. However, in most cases, accessible seats need to be booked over the phone. You can book online if you are exempt from free companion tickets or do not need a wheelchair space and know where to sit to view the BSL interpreter and caption screens clearly.
Besides the theatre name and place are also the dates of the run in each venue for anyone not necessarily needing an assisted performance but still need accessible seating, wheelchair spaces and companion tickets.

I’m looking forward to seeing the show and hope to have a review up afterwards.
Let me know whether there are any other tours you would like me to make access listings for or any regions. I’m hoping to do a North Wales one soon.
